Tramp Iron Removal in Mineral Processing & Mining Conveyor Systems
- The Challenge: A large Australian mining company frequently suffered from conveyor belt tears and crusher damage due to large amounts of iron impurities (such as broken drill bits and bolts) embedded in bulk ore.
- Our Solution: MagnetGlobal specifically designed a heavy-duty permanent magnet drum separator with extremely strong magnetic field penetration for the client. The robust and durable built-in neodymium iron boron magnet system ensures continuous and automated separation of large ferrous objects from high-flow-rate material.

Removal of Fine Iron Impurities in Bulk Material Handling & Powder Processing
- The Challenge: A high-end German bulk solids handling contractor required high-precision magnetic rollers to meet stringent European construction and hygiene standards, preventing fine iron impurities from contaminating high-purity chemical powders.
- Our Solution: We provided customized mirror-polished magnetic rollers (roller magnets) with high-quality bearing housings according to the client’s requirements. These rollers, precision-welded from SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel, provide a uniform surface magnetic field of up to 12,000 gauss, effectively adsorbing even weakly magnetic fouling particles.
- The Result: Seamless integration into the German client’s automated production line, ensuring zero batch scrap due to metal contamination and passing rigorous European quality audits.
Capturing High-Load Iron Powder in Plastic Granule Recycling Production Lines
- The Challenge: A recycling plant in the United States faced a severe problem of plastic granule degradation. During the crushing of industrial waste plastics, a large amount of fine iron filings and micro-iron powder were generated, contaminating the recycled plastic granules and causing significant losses. Time was of the essence.
- Our Solution: MagnetGlobal deployed a multi-layer Gaussian magnetic grid (magnetic mesh) designed with rare-earth neodymium magnets. By optimizing the spacing between the magnetic rods, the recycled plastic material passes directly through the area of maximum magnetic energy, instantly capturing and adsorbing a large amount of fine iron powder.

Gravity hopper iron removal in food ingredient processing
- The Challenge: A Canadian food processing plant needed to install magnetic guards in its grain/flour gravity hoppers. The magnetic rack needed to seamlessly fit into the gravity pipe hopper and square discharge channel, with no blind spots to prevent material blockage. This demonstrated a customized pipe matching capability and advanced food-grade surface treatment, while also complying with stringent food safety regulations.
- Our Solution: We customized square hopper magnets (magnetic grids with a housing) with dimensions perfectly matching the customer’s existing hopper dimensions. Food-grade SUS316 stainless steel bars, using a fully sealed welding and smooth polishing process, ensured a seamless installation with the hopper, eliminating gaps that could breed bacteria, and effectively intercepting any accidental metal contaminants (screws, washers, etc.) entering the mixing process.

Large-scale mixing silo and pipeline integration for lithium-ion battery anode materials
- The Challenge: A large lithium-ion battery material manufacturer in Vietnam required a comprehensive iron removal system integrated into a large mixing silo and material discharge pipeline to remove PPB-level magnetic impurities.
